Can't find the Insta360 One R thread. Now is in PreOrder and I hope to buy locally when it is available.

Got my eyes on the One X, thanks goodness i waited. Now to sell off my Hero 7.

i think nobody into this camera .. i have one x .. they said only worth upgrade for the nightshot .. or perhaps buy the 1 inch

i'm down for this camera.
Insta One X issue. Cracked bottom screw port and some youtuber said its not for extreme action cam.

InstaOne R is the answer.

i have the osmo action & currently friend loaned me insta one x.

decide to joined preorder for twin kit.
shop say should arrive next week

a little bit more than what you could get directly from the website
but a friend of mine who bought earlier said they need to get sirim or something added some cost.
also if later on to claim warranty, i rather go thru shop then handle myself.

i tried the i360 one x , loaned by friend
decide to get the i360 go, using it almost daily on bike ride.
have high hopes for i360 one R

IMHO I feel like the most underrated one is Go, which is perfect if you wanna bike ride with it.

I feel like I use my Go more than everything else. Wearble cam is best cam indeed.

Yeah I went there he said all booked in the end I got my unit from silpstream helmets.

As someone who now owned both, I'd say One R is the one to get. One X was good for its time, but new workflow improvement alone is worth the jump.

In One X, in order to output your photo/video, you need to download it first to your phone or PC, baru you can do the framing/editing and finally baru can export and use outside. You waste space (as you need to download working file) and time (working file besar dowh).

For One R, you dont even need to download the working file. You can edit and frame directly within the app by connecting your phone to the camera and export only the desired output.

I did not know what I was missing before this honestly! This alone is the reason why you should prioritize this over GoPro Max or One X!

can you please tell me where do you buy this camera ..

btw hows the battery life ? tahan .. any sample of the video u take ?

Haha I usually just use this almost only for photo. I snap video, then take screenshot out of it.

Battery life I dunno baru pakai sehari kot. A little more than One X I suppose.

this is true
for my test on motor ride.
the One x seems to shake a lot more, or i would say wobble alot more due to its longer size.
normal video wont notice much, but in hyperlapse the bike will be seen blurry.

the One r is alot steadier, very sturdy.
but the part where 2 camera stich isnt as smooth as one X.
the footage is noticeably sharper, and dynamic range is superb.

one thing i would like is in the editing app
to track object/subject not in the middle
and i dont see the tracking feature and hyperlapse/speed up in the desktop app tho?

Can track la in the app, just long tap on your subject. I keep accidentally track lol.

yes i know.
in phone app yes.
i meant desktop pc insta360 studio.

insta360 studio can tick the 'lock direction' , easy
but no hyperlapse (speed adjustment + motion blur)

took abit time to get use to the one R app
but i see alot more feature (2:35:1 ratio , tilt horizon , no need to import to edit)
very nice

It's out alright, but first batch I think macam dah sold out and subsequent batches macam on hold until the kilang finally allowed to resume operation in China. I heard diorang kena tutup until March.

Their iOS app macam on different league compared to their Android app. Have to pinjam wife punya ipad to do some editing lol.

I tried using insta 360 one x on the One R app
it works

it cant pair thru app
it does not detect the camera in app
need to manually connect to one X wifi first
then app will connect.

playback is a lil bit slower than of 360 one R
but can edit without need to download

anybody here knows whether this camera already selling in lowyat shop or anyway in kl .. i want to buy this saturday
