I don't need to come up with new when there's no good argument against it yet. They're all taboo because big imaginary guy in the sky says it's bad. And what good is mutual consent when the concept of statutory rape exist.

I already made a point about this.  To add to that, it's because sex is taught as bad to kids when sexual violence is what actually the negative aspect and cause trauma. Why teach kids that sex is bad for 18 years but then suddenly tell them sex is actually natural and healthy when they crossed their 18th birthday? The determination for age of consent is loosely based on cultural morality. There's no "mental test" actually implemented. If you want to determine through brain maturity then the real age of consent for everybody is 25 years old. Why isn't that the standard age then? Not just for sex for but other matured life decisions like smoking, drinking,driving, etc.

Ahhh.. so here come excuses.
