Societal law may differ from one place to another. However, universal law of cause-effect that does not discriminate.
Taking alcohol for example, may be legal or illegal in some society. Making it legal , where majority of them drink alcohol, does not make the ills effect of alcohol any lesser.
It still muddles the mind, weakens self control.
