So easy to restore back the operation.
What have they learned from this kind of incidence.
Authority so easy to satisfied. Better don't audit for shiok shiok.

not close for 14 days

the reporters are idiots, the law (Food Act 1983) clearly says close NOT
MORE than 14 days meaning that any food premises that were closed can
be opened any time ( some case less than 24hrs) after being inspected again
and met the requirements

I work in this department and we were always misquoted by the media and public

If the restaurant infringe the food act one time, they can do it for another time yo. You all as consumer should know better and stop going there la.

See what happened to Raj Banana Leaf. Close one time, come back as RBL, then closed forever.

Why closed not more than 14 days clause? After 14 days what will happen? Auto open?

You don't read? It can be inferred from the article the restaurant do some cleaning and applied to department to recheck and then given green light. If you are concerned about any hanky panky can either call Macc or just don't go there. If enough customers stop going there the restaurant will close forever.

Every time visit a restaurant, just go to toilet and u will pass by their kitchen. Take a picture post in social media or lowyat so that everyone knows about it. This happens in all sorts of restaurants around Malaysia.

Never encounter such case before but i believe the owner has the right to challenge/sue
the authority or court if their premise is closed more than 14 days.

The council has the authority to close food premise too

it happens that the complaint goes to KKM instead of council so whoever received the complaint should take the action first.
