as a student, when i go open maybank saving account, i just give them my UPM matric card as a prove, and they ask me to write my UPM hostel address,they say ok. the deposit is RM 50 only.they just give me the atm card and say no akaun book anymore cause new policy.is it?

by the way, what is the difference between current and savings account?
