QUOTE(peanut @ Jul 7 2022, 12:13 PM) Am interested in getting rm80 plan. It came with a standard tp-link router with customized/branded Celcom Firmware, but once I tekan upgrade in the dashboard, it flashes to generic tp-link firmwareIs the provided router's firmware a custom firmware like isp M's router or is it stock tp link firmware with C's isp settings only? The only different i notice is Wifi Name can remove the @CelcomFibre at the suffix. Everything still works fine |

QUOTE(Bulldoze @ Jul 8 2022, 01:40 PM) Hi guys,I want to ask..How to change custom Firmware Celcom Router TP-Link AX10 to stock TP-Link? When i press Check For Upgrades, nothing happened, showing firmware is updated.. Mine is the same version, after upgrading.https://pictr.com/images/2022/07/08/BR9nZj.md.png No longer have any mention of Celcom anywhere on this version. Yours still have celcom branding? |

Would also like to share some experience.
Currently on celcomdigi legacy plan 50mbps, which cost me RM90. Went to their blueclue to enquiry if there's any better deal, only being told those bundle deals are only for new customers. I could only upgrade to 100mbps with RM99/month which will auto renew my contract. Even the personnel at the bluecube hinted it will be a better deal for me to port out to unifi, which provides me 6 months bill waiver, with the same price around RM 89 (before sst) for 100mbps. Now in the progress of waiting the port out / transfer to happen after submitted transfer id to celcom. Let's see how it goes And yes, the past few days the routing was shit, visiting SG or US sites are significant slower. |

Just finish port out from celcom and using unifi at the moment.
To be fair, during peak hours, I'm facing throttling in my downloads using xbox/steam app.(JB Area) So I guess there's no perfect plan in Malaysia unless you use Time |
