Planning to sign up fibre internet

Unifi - apply online showed my house unit is missing. Called 100 saying port full, all I can do is WAIT. (I wait from before MCO1.0 until now)
Maxis - not covered (really?)
Digi - covered. Signed up but infrastructure unavailable ( maybe due to TM no port dy?)
Celcom - covered but I haven't tried sign up I guess would be same like Digi, have to wait TM port available

You can try walk in to TMpoint and Celcom outlet to clarify about ports/ address availability.

Was the process to change to public IP troublesome? Also is it possible to use personal router instead of the one provided?

Currently a CelcomFibre user in Sabah, Tawau region.

1. "Generally" good.
Signed up for 100mbps but getting 130mbps download 55mbps upload. Ping : 35ms Jitter : 0 Packet Loss : 0 (Server Telekom Malaysia Berhad, KL)

2. There are a few slowdown of download speed during peak hours (8pm-1030pm). Speed varies , can be as low as 2mbps download however upload is unaffected. Happens almost once per week, usually on the weekends

3. Been calling customer service to report on this issue since 2 months ago, there isn't a definite solution until now. (I'm guessing it's a hardware limitations from their end?)

4. Their customer services really need to be improved based on the 8 times of me calling in. The technical team and the operator has 0 correlation hence they have no idea what were the findings or solution of all my previous complaints.

5. Side note : sign up with a their external agent better, went to the main office and was told that my area was not in coverage, but clearly it is😑

The above part is bad. becos unifi has no slowdown etc. pretty consistent at all times. like that not worth to switch to Celcom for all these hassles that will get later becos of the price factor.

Yes is 100Mbps plan? The speed is quite impressive though.

Celcom Timur that's for sure. The reason why kuanz has slowdown problems is because the local cell site has been overloaded by mobile users, and that's why upload speed is higher than download when it happens. A Celcom Timur fiber trunk are usually shared with a mobile tower and a roadside cabinet for FTTH. And that's why Celcom Fiber in Sabah can be available at the darndest of places sometimes.

That's why, if anyone wants to get Celcom Fiber, make sure it runs on TM HSBB network.

Anyone with experience of Celcom FTTH in West Malaysia -

- can you get a dynamic public ip address or you're stuck with CGNAT?
- do they block any ports? I'm running various services at home - Nextcloud, music streamer ..

Already installed. The installers from celcom and unifi seems friendly.

Speed wise my 300MB package gets 200+MB max only....

How do i sign up for their home broadband? How's their service so far? To me it kinda seems really bad. I tried registering online for the 30mpbs subscribtion at their website but no update at all after 7 days. Called their hotline to check after that and their customer service guy just told me to give him my ic number and will check, then nothing happened after that.

"switch" by port out or totally new installation (terminate unifi)? if using "port out" way, celcom just provide new Router.. TM only change modem if the old one cant support new package.. (some old modem max can support 100Mbps only)..
if totally new installation, then you might get a new cable.. like me last time, I cut old outdoor cable. Indoor cable I also removed.so Celcom deal with TM to pull new cable.. My old cable is from year 2011..current style is they just pull black outdoor fiber cable to your house and terminate to Modem.. very nice one..
