Speed test @ 2.4GHz

To squeeze out Maxis Route, do this settings:
Mode: 11n only (old standard b/g with n cause overhead, no need b/g in 2020)
Channel: 3 (going to use double width, 3 + 6)
Channel Width: 40MHz (More wider = more speed)
My old Asus DSL-AC52U can handle 2.4GHz @ 108Mbps, but can't handle 255 TCP/IP sessions, Stock Maxis can handle 4096 TCP/IP sessions, quite fast BT download
Speed test @ 5GHz

To squeeze out Maxis Route, do this settings:
Mode: 11ac only (11a is old support only 20MHz & useless in 2020, 11n is kind rush and fill gap & support 40MHz, 11ac is better & support 80MHz)
Channel: 36 (going to use triple width)
Channel Width: 80MHz (More wider = more speed)
Please, stop using 40MHz in 2.4G, and don’t use any channels other than 1,6,11, be a considered neighbor, all those CCTV, smart home and printer don’t actually require any speed higher than 5mbps, plus they r sleeping most of the time. Also, it will cause more interference due to wider band, u r interrupting ur neighbors so do them, urs n their Wi-Fi will become unstable.[attachmentid=10395545]

From the results posted by the author, I can tell his phone is only 1x1 antenna, it’s quite normal for 2.4G to get 30~50mbps, if 2x2 it will become 60~80mbps, really ok for an 2.4G devices, so don’t worry about it.
