this is what i told my parents years ago when people start eating fake meat for religious reason, your "niat" is already broken because you still want to eat meat. i guess the same apply here, if your niat is to eat "haram" food, then should not be halalif it is plant-based then basically shall be already considered as vegetarian and why the need for halal certification... so muslims can undoubtedly know what real pork taste like ?
