QUOTE(majorarmstrong @ Jul 29 2020, 10:38 AM)
question again:

you see yesterday i buy that time before 4PM it was 1.0885 for RM9999
but today when the RM9999 reflected it say i bought it at 1.0893
so we wont know what is the NAV till the price is reflected the next day

this is not like stock market, you see the price u like u buy and that is your price, but for UT there is always a delay of 1 day specifically for OPUS
*
Unit trust is investment tool for long term investment..
That one you can see buy price to aim timing is stock
There is no perfect investment tool, you can decide which investment tool suit the best for you.

In the product highlight sheet for mpf. Go to the first page, expand mpf and there should be a link to the product highlight sheet. With that being said, the guy above me already clarify, transfer fee is not equal to withdrawal fee just in case you are wondering the same thing.
*
This transfer fee looks like to be charged when transfer from platform A to B, eg from Opus to FSM
It is not the redemption fee or switching fee.
Not sure correct or wrong.

Hmm, lost 200 in one day? Then you should have around 6 figures in IPF?
Just curious how much boost coin you earned through Boost?

I don't really care much on boost as I don't know where to spend my boost coin
*
I spent on Petrol and grocery Voucher.
It worth more than the 69 cents you earned daily

What is your purpose on investing in opus? For bond fund, just DCA will do, how would you want to aim the bond fund market timing?
As for that comment, for me it is more like a troll...

after cc statement date. that way can get 50 days interest free. give some buffer so 40 days. i'm new to this, so i think all put at moderate type of fund? put all egg in 1 basket.
*

Choose the lowest risk fund (money plus fund) if your purpose is to cash out from cc

used to be the boost coins can convert to cashback but now no more.
now most useful usage of the coins to me is convert to limited shopee vouchers or grocery cashback. later this might disappear too.
*
Can change to petrol voucher now up to rm30 easily if one spent 4000+ /m in boost
Although most people don’t bother the boost coin but for me it is good reward. I stick to Opus is mainly because of this. If boost coin rewards cancel I might go other fund house
Having 10k in any MMF at 2%pa can get 16.6 per month...
this boost coin value give more than that..

IPF not good?
*
From the basic technical analysis I used to apply for stock, and based on this fund performance chart recently, I don’t think this IPF will be optimistic in short time, you can compare with the chart of other bond fund.
For long term investment maybe is still good.
Of course this might not suitable to be used to analyse bond fund/ fixed income fund, anyway it is just my personal opinion

I just couldn’t understand, instead of pumping more in and praying hoping it will rebound one day and fly higher than other bond fund, isn’t it better if one direct jump to another boat which is performing more consistently better in the past 6 months?

Anyone still holding IPF?

My portfolio now is RED since 17th Feb even though average down monthly, what a joke? Better to put in FD  mad.gif
*
I invested in August when open account at Opus but move away in Sep as the performance chart don’t show good sign.
For me the bond fund I will only go to the fund that have good chart movement. Eg amanahraya Syariah trust fund, RHB China bond fund. Stable is the most important thing.
If want volatile should direct go to equity

anyone here boost to opus then straight away redeem back to bank account after it become redeemable?
*
Yes. This is how i get extra bullet for Bursa.
But please remember this might be a double edge sword... if you misused or overused it might be hurting yourself much.
Myself have 3 years emergency back up fund to cover the risk

What risk are you referring to? Unless Opus go bust, otherwise I am only exposed to daily price fluctuations risk which is probably quite low for Opus MPF.
*
I mean self control.

Some people (Not everyone) cashed out rm4999 from CC ->boost ->>Opus ->> bank account and might spend it easily somewhere, let it be gamble, stock goreng, buy 4D, spent on sugar baby whatever and if burnt hand they might have problem to settle credit card statements and the snow ball will growing bigger
