QUOTE(majorarmstrong @ Aug 6 2020, 11:44 PM) i am just starting to take things into my own hand and still learning That time before big crash i also got the same thinking of urs that SIPF is performing better but in fact i loose over RM1k from SIPF while earning over RM5k on IPFso far i am only in IPF and might want to look at SIPF so i will continue to dig abit more information about the fund another interesting difference i notice is that IPF is more diversify see the number of sector they are in compare to SIPF IPF has 10% in cash which i dont know why they want to do that as for SIPF they are heavy in the telecomunication sector which puzzle me a little and less diversify ![]() I have since not dare to touch SIPF anymore and just focus on IPF |

QUOTE(funboy555 @ Aug 10 2020, 09:39 AM) If you all invest like this, most likely you may have loss more than earn at the end of the day. seems like u still dunno how Opus workBecause some times it could be 1 day adjustment, and later go up again, then u sell at low price and have to buy back at high price. Anyway, just my opinion. it's ok, u can choose stay or buy more, i already redeem all but left 1k units inside |

Please dont follow blindly to me, need to listen to othersLike I said I am very new to all this totally no idea what I am doing so I just follow Why don't u sound TS? Of cos i have studied Opus and invest myself, so far earn over RM4k since 26/12 last year, if not bcos of Mar i got more than RM5k Of cos got risk by doing my way as well, butif i put long term like what happen during March, i might get only RM1k plus |

QUOTE(datolee32 @ Aug 10 2020, 10:21 PM) Hi, how to see the bond performance you mentioned above? Is the fluctuation proportional with IPF NAV movement? you can refer to this:https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/ABMBNDF:MK the performance is almost similar to IPF or this: https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/AMMISAM:MK similar to SIPF |

QUOTE(majorarmstrong @ Aug 12 2020, 09:01 AM) there is nothing to be wasted or not as you already exchange the units to real moneywho knows tomolo might drop again? even if i buy today and drop again i also no regret as i buy with lower NAV and try to redeem again and it might up again and gain from it that's why i said i love ding dong or see saw scenario buy definitely not ding ding dong dong ding ding dong dong |

QUOTE(vanitas @ Aug 12 2020, 11:06 AM) Interesting. How long you had been "gaming" on this, and how much percentage is the return so far? I invested since last year decIt might worth a play if the return rate as high as equity fund, but risk is as low as bond. Lol The figure vary less than rm5k initially then slow increase to rm100k, so cant give u an exact percentage based on return rate But overall earn more than rm4k since then and ipf there shown IRR = 22.1% |
