All my cars have shown Their Low Fuel Warning Lights. Cannot bear to feed bad fuel from Petron and Petronas to my babies.

You have been fueling EURO2M pretrol for soooooo long, what's the problem to pump a little more?
The petrol station will have to finish their old EURO2M stock before the new EURO4M stock come in.
If you really care for the emmision so much than just pump the RON97 which has been EURO4M standard for years (but seriously, if you really care about the emmision than I'll assume for the past years you should've been using RON97 already).

They are finishing up the old stock of Euro 2M petrol, it might take some time to be fully replaced Euro by 4M RON95 petrol.

Caltex has already announced.

I hope I'm wrong, but it appears to be acceptable for retailers to slowly dilute off their E2M fuel in their underground tanks, instead of ensuring all fuel sold from 1 jan 2020 must be 100% E4M. I guess that's how we roll here in Msia.

For example, if today gomen were to announce all new cars sold here must have ESC from 1 Jan 2040, I can bet dealers will be asking for approval to finish up their old stock come Dec 2039 instead of planning in advance.

I thought EURO2M or EURO4M are not supposed to give you much better performance but just "cleaner" fuel. So technically it only means that your fuel filter will last longer with cleaner fuel.

There will be no special effect on carbon built up or anything for Direct Injection engine. Meaning performance same, carbon build up same, FC same. Only fuel filter is cleaner. smile.gif

fuel filter cannot filter everything, it gets clogged up after years of pumping euro 2 RON95 as well
when it reaches your engine, it creates carbon build up
when your fuel is very clean....carbon build up will be way harder

so the cleaner fuel + the addictive inside the fuel should keep your engine away from carbon build up
and the air that u breath that came out from the exhaust is way cleaner as well

There are more physical impurities in gasoline other than sulphur and benzene. Impurities can be in the form of fine solids, gum, and even rusts from storage tanks (yes, minute amount of water can be present in gasoline) . So it's not entirely correct to say E4M is definitely physically cleaner than E2M

i been pumping BHP RON95 but last week i tried Petronas Euro 4 Ron 95 seems the FC quite bad vs BHP all these while I am using. Just wondering
if is already using euro 4 but why BHP don't announce once again? Since everybody mentioned it. At least can refresh people that BHP already complies with Euro 4. hmm.gif

because those who uses BHP already knew...it's already been a few years already
and AFAIK, BHP's station is not everywhere compared to petronas and shell

and don't try to change brand...it's not gonna improve your FC
like in my case, i know shell is the worst for my car....so no way i'm gonna go for shell...just gonna stick to my petron

I've been using BHP for the past 10 years. biggrin.gif

Occasionally will travel outstation and will still locate BHP to refill my car. You will always be able to locate a station at every states. Just that you need to make a slight detour only.

Means is already EURO 4 for RON95? I thought all these while their oil is imported from SG with EURO 3 kind of rate but never knew they already euro 4 95 which is good since I been pumping 90% (unless long distance no choice).
