You can get cheaper than 40K otr
I bought 2.0P 2012 Top-spec Spanco for 40k 2017
So at 2020 can get way cheaper

Overall very good, parts is abundant due to sharing DNA with lancer, mean the part is interchangeable.

Wear and tear is expected when buying used. So standby RM2k
I changed the whole absorber, brakepad, radiator fan.

FC im getting 550KM for RM100 on total which equate to
11.5km/l  which is expected for 2.0

Lol its freakin everywhere
Some shop changed the bodykit

But its easy to detect spanco car

If its 2012 Black 2.0 premium with touchscreen, 17 inch refresh rims. Most spanco are made 2012 registered 2013

Because the 2.0 Inspira with 17inch rim does not come with Black colour for consumer, only brown colour in 2013

Yes, it's a big upgrade over your BLM, myvi don't even come close.
Not sure about the CVT, but the 1.8 manual one tend to have clutch pump leak. Cost 2k to replace at proton

I own 1 1.8MT, its fun car to drive and to mods. the only annoying part is the clutch bearing leak issue. cost is rm700 to fix if u dont include the plate & cover. price wise u can get at around 25k now i think for year 2011-2013.

Since its 2020, im planning to get a used 2013/2014/2015 Proton Inspira 2.0... Hence just wondering if it's worth forking out RM40k for a used Spanco / Privately own Proton Inspira.. or are there other better cars out there. I dont want the common Bezza, Saga, Myvi , etc....
Currently driving a 2008 Saga BLM. Bored of it and wanting something more powerful.

Since u are talking bout C segment and want more power... How bout something with factory stock 340nm torque + 6 speed wet clutch DCT + multilink rear suspension like the inspira? The ford focus tdci turbo diesel... Is cost just 1/2 of your budget, u probably gonna need that other half for maintenance and spare parts

If from spanco then previously might be from government owned car.

In my experience of driving the inspira for a good few years, the car is reliable and comfort level is much better than most proton offerings.

Spareparts are quite easy to find and the roadtax is pretty affordable.

If you can get a good price then i think its worth it to upgrade from the saga blm.

2k not enough.
When buying used car at least above 4k, especially for cars above 150,000km

1. it's a D segment nonetheless
2. bulletproof engine
3. if and only if u can afford the maintenance...maintenance cost totally different to BLM
