i am using wired maxis broadband to play wow... no complaints so far... i usually get around 300-400... lowest was about 200+

and what i thought was maxisbb lagging is actually WoW problems ( the recent auth screen logon problems, some minor lags spikes)

bandwidth cap? nope... no caps, so far...

can't say for the wireless though, cos i'm not using it. one thing abt maxisbb: it seems we can't bt on it, according to my friend. i haven't tried tho cos' i'm not a bt fan =)

well, i can tell you that i don't feel the caps bcos i don't bt anyways.. just surf, check emails, do work research and WoW... at flying, and i do mean flying speeds... in WoW, i get seldom green mostly yellow lats of around 300-400... insta-cast spells/skills IS insta-cast... on my rogue... i can mount up and chase down an ally, kite circles around him and stun-whup his ass to the next server, lol

but to be fair maxisbb has its down days too, just not as much as tmnet... and there are other factors in play as well, like server pop, the current wow gateway lagging issue etc etc. and line wise, could be different in your area as well. so there's still a risk factor in it. but seriously, i've never been happier to switch, heh...

well.. i'm using wired maxisbb... so no crazy spikes... and yea, if you're thinking about using maxisbb to play WoW, please get wired... i seriously wouldn't suggest any wireless to play a mmorpg...
