Sad that Martinez is leaving, I think Martinez is a better GK than Leno.

Few good game doesn't mean better than leno.

Becoz i dont remember any good game from leno.

Leno is ok sometimes just that defense was bad
Emi is good too..he improved alot
But going to villa is hmm its a downgrade imo

Gotto say im sad to see Emi leave.

Yes, very few of us know about him and his capabilities before leno got injured.

But when he was given the chance, he really hit the ground running. I was totally impressed. Thought our defence improved tremendously once he started playing. For some reason, David Luiz stopped making those odd errors, which i suspect has to do with emi's command and communication with the backline.

And considering that emi is homegrown and was raised from our own academy, a big punch to us for letting him go.

We have to be fair to him though - a talent like that should be playing week in week out, not warming benches. I wish him all the best at Villa - except when playing against us. His past 10 over games were coincidentally arsenal's most enjoyable string of matches to watch for a very long time.

But at least he able to impress us with only a few games and won 2 silverware.

Anyhow being goalkeeper is not easy, to fight For a regular Start.

It was a tricky situation because both Leno and Martinez are good enough to be a starter.
I guess it was not really a bad decision, his price went up 4x times, and we could use that money elsewhere like funding for Partey or to pay Ozil’s wages haha

Sadly his departure wont contributes to our exceeded limit non-HG players problem since he is HG.

He nearly gone for 5m in last season..10 excellent match increasing his value to 20m..amazing..
Macey,balogun,toriera,kolasinac,papa and maybe bellerin,niles will follow..their money will get us aouar,partey and runar..kinda impressed with our transfer activities and will be more interesting if sanlehi,mislintat still in our club..

Yes he just wants to play regularly so he can be argentina number 1 GK.

Currently argentina don’t have any good keeper, martinez is the best one there but he got to play week in week out.

He may even win a trophy - the copa america 2021 which will be host in Argentina/Colombia

At his age should be getting regular game time already. Cannot blame Martinez, he is a good servant to us. I personally prefer Martinez over Leno. I just think Leno has weak presence in defence. We'll see la next time if it's the right move to let go Martinez.
