Just before we wrap the year and step into 2020..

How do you see / think / expect all things digital (websites, app, voice etc) will change here on ?

What's your achievement so far in 2019?

Voice will take over how we communicate to devices.

In my field, digital marketing, I have leant that almost 50% of the searches in search engines will be done using voice so it is important that we cater to that.

There's a been a few.. reading more, better business decisions, better family relations.. and I digress.

For me, I see big movement in the hosting industry for 2020 such as cloud based and more platform driven - WordPress etc.

I've read that being the change for awhile now. Though I've not observed many users especially on mobile using voice to initiate searches during my transits in KL.

While I don't know the numbers, I've not heard many friends who incoroporated much IoT into their homes let alone getting an Alexa or Google Home.

Me? Unfortunately no...

Pricing is still one of the main criteria in selecting service provider

However, I can see that customer started to also review supplier base on services and support (after sales service)
Customer started to understand that invest a little bit more to get a reliable service provider is critical

Only difference I'm seeing in the online space now is the acceleration of Internet use:

1. To buy items
2. To research items

We're still rather behind with clients not looking into real digital automation. They're only seeing the surface; website, social media marketing and online advertising.

And with the pandemic as a driver, more and more people will take to online to complain or switch providers with a few flicks of the finger. This tells me, many businesses are looking at acquiring only and not retaining.
