It feels gentler to my finger. Quite good at anti finger print as well. Unless your finger too oily. Not sure about protection like the tempered glass does. I'm thinking next time to put hydrogel on top of tempered glass.

Im using. But once u accidently opened it when inserting the phone into the pocket, the dust will stick to the film and it will be an eyesore to continue using it.

Yes, it's npt really smooth like glass or pet.
Because it's soft.
It is for curved screen.

I used it for a while, if terkena key in pocket, a bit deep, the mark won't go away.

what i can think of is it cover the curve edge well and lighter than Glass.
but not sure will it leave any markings as the Hydrogel is not so resistant to scratches as glass does

That depends. Have two phones myself. One tempered glass, the other hydrogel. No problem for me.
Nice and pretty are subjective I guess.

Applied it last week on my phone
So far so good but careful when put in case and don't press too hard cause will leave mark
IMO abit expensive/overpriced but a good choice for curved screen phone, can protect against scratches but I dont think can survive a face drop

in my experience tempered glass also dont absorb those impact, if got also pretty much minuscule.
you need to buy silicon/rubber case in order to survive those drop.

you only buy screen protector for scratch protection, the most ideal screen protector were hard to scratch, not easy to shatter and allow on-screen fingerprint reading.

in my observation with cheap screen protector:
plastic - easy to scratch, but wont shatter
hydrogel - similar to plastic, but have somewhat weaker material which breaks by itself (probably our heat contribute to this), better for curved screen compared to plastic, the layer is too thin, so i doubt it can absorb any drop impact.
tempered glass - hard to scratch, easy to shatter, cheap screen protector cant cover 2.5d screen fully, curved one should be very expensive.

Hydrogel got 3 type, clear transparent, matte (anti fingerprint) and anti blue ray

Only provide scratch protection

Will heal itself if scratched

If got bubbles trapped during application will disappear itself in a few day

Better than those plastic and easier application, can last a long time due to its self healing characteristic

Quality one is RM 10 - 15.

If ur screen is scratch resistance then no need sp, unless u want anti blue ray/fingerprint. Tempered glass won't save u from drops also so u gonna need casing for that.

Don't expect miracle from these gel type of protector against drop. I've been using them for a while, I like it as it gives a very good touch and feedback, and not easily stained. I attached 2 pictures.
On my OnePlus, I dropped it before. You can see the cracks at the front cam. If you look carefully, the whole top line of my screen is roughed as it was not protected.
On my s10, just want to show if not applied properly, you get the ugly air pockets.

The application does not allow mistake, only one chance to get right. The one on s10 came with some liquid that I need to apply and bond to the screen, then use blue light to shine.

The OnePlus screen age is maybe 1 year plus. S10 is about 3 months. Also don't believe so much on the self healing properties, but using a soft cloth to rub against the scratch may help .

Overall is good to use and I prefer this to a tempered glass. But I think a layer of tempered glass offer more protection against drop.
