Hi Guys,

My New house only VP on end of Q1 2020 , plus renovation maybe July only can move in.

But my current rental place the agreement (for 2 years stay) will end by end of Q1, what is the right process we can move on to the extension and also ensure that my deposit is secure ?

renovation till jul 2020? wow that is super long time. around 3 months if vp on Mar 2020.

inform your landlord to grant you a 6m extension, afterwards then u can move out with deposit. ask your landlord to find a tenant in 6 month so that he can make your work easier.

but anyway you need to refer back the tenancy agreement which you have signed in the past 2 years.

Better safe than sorry.
