Unless a more reputable AV software reports the same, we're not going to be bothered investigating this.

AVG lets genuine worms and viruses run riot, while pops up threat detection warnings for harmless scripts.

-----------------------------------

The fade.js script on our server (which is what AVG seems to be blocking) hasn't been changed since late 2005.

Hmm, probably the definitions are not updated properly. :/

Mine seems to be okay though.

I have to agree that AVG is less than average AV program. It appears to be a false positive.

Switch to Active Virus Shield Powered by Kaspersky (NOTE: please do NOT install the AOL Security Toolbar that comes with it) or Avira AntiVir PE Classic if you're looking for good and FREE alternatives.

i would recommend avg because it is free and has never given me false negatives.

i wouldnt know if they give me false negatives or not because if it says whatever i downloaded (usually cra... i mean some *.exe files) are harmful, i agree with it

Try using FireFox with your current AVG.

THe other option is to install Norton AV and see if Norton prompts this to you.

Also, clear off the temp int folder and do not allow cookies to be auto stored. Perhaps you can narrow it down.
