I witnessed the construction truck digging up the rock/sand from the hole, and the it filled up with rain water during the time when my office is in IOI Business Park. That was early 2000s.
The water took few years to filled up the hole. The pressure underneath the lake should be "stable" by now.
Anyway, there is one thing to pay attention with. Tunnel underneath LDP is under construction to channel the flash flood water to this lake, and couple with the use of a pump to pump excess water to Sungai Klang.
