tyres, see what u want la. want value for money, durability, pure speed, etc. so what exactly u looking for in a tyre?

Cleat: easy to use and its normal to fall down when you are getting used to it. On the positive note, you will be sumber hiburan kawan kawan while getting used to it

if u say less than 1k, go for tyres only.
if u say 5k, go for wheelset + tyres.

u can't go wrong with dura ace, fulcrum racing zero, mavic ksyrium wheels.

What is your bicycle's spec in the first place?
For example; if standard groupset already Ultegra, then no need to upgrade to Dura-Ace la.

i m using 10 speed Ultegra Di2 ...
good enuf to survive 600km, Frazer ride, able to maintain in the front paleton in events, etc.

If your current roadbike has Ultegra components, the top up a bit next time and can get Cannondale.

i go peres almost every Sunday unless other things comes up ... never get bored of that place even when the route is the same 40km all the time

BTW, there are 2 type of frames from Cannondale. 1 is the Hi-Mod and the other is the normal version.
Visually, it looks identical but according to LBS, Hi-Mod is lighter and stiffer than the normal frame although it's the same model (e.g.: System Six Hi-Mod vs System Six). 

I also want to know. 
I can only manage 8km uphill at Peras.

Premium aluminium like CAAD / Allez is always more desirable than entry level carbon frames like COMP / Twitter / etc and might be lighter too

Harsher rides can be bad, as it potentially tires out your overall body quicker. Different riders can take to this differently, some ppl have higher tolerances for this than others.

But having said that, it's not really accurate to attribute harshness to just frame material alone. Frame material does have a certain amount of effect on this, but for the most part it's effected by the frame design itself.

See the brand you like, then the bike, then the colour and then buy the bike.
