Depends on budget. Specialized and Giant and Merida have affordable entry RB. In the range of below 4k. Aluminium. Carbon bikes will be 4k and above. You can go look see these shops not too far from subang
Usj cycle - been in usj for more than 10 years. Carries a variety of bike brands.
Pedalspot in taipan - more atas brands. No harm checking out.
Specialized PJ in kayu area damansara - Specialized obviously smile.gif
Giant bike in Aman suria- giant and Liv brands of bike.
Sometimes you go to these shops talk to the people they might know someone who's upgrading bikes (which happens quite alot).
Good luck with your search

Thanks for the information , today been to pedalspot, usj cycle and one more shop in shah alam it seem like they ran out of entry road bike due to recent demand, have not much choice but look into intermediate level bike and found some good bike like caad 13 and argon gallium.. Just wonder which bike is better as I have no idea on the branding side

Thanks for the reply, wouldn't mind going for secondhand bike and is actually more suitable for my current situation.. But I lack of experience on spotting the defect

gallium’s a carbon frame, CAAD13 is an alu frame

If it is the same price point, for comparable specs, I’d lean Argon but that said, CAAD13 or Cannondale to be more specific has a large number of followers who are willing to pay higher for the brand.

I am one of them.

Can’t say the same about buying a used Argon

Doenst show much different of price when coming down to rim brake spec but in terms of warranty argon offer 5 years and cannondale offer life time limited on the frame which is quite tempting
