What would be a better choice, Giant TCR Advanced 2 or Specialized Tarmac SL6 Sport? Both comes with Shimano 105, both entry level carbon. Price difference around 1k between 2.

Bike recommendation please. MCO caught me thinking on how much I should spend on first bike. Previously was checking Specialized Tarmac SL6 vs. Giant TCR Advanced, both around 7-8k price range. If I reduce my budget to 4-5k, any recommendation? Consider that, threaded BB seems promoted, and preferred to have disc.

QUOTE(miaopurr @ Sep 1 2020, 12:00 PM) i dunno. im just guessing that ur skin has dried. let me change the battery and see. if it still persists then will keep it wet even during the rest stop. thanks!but afterward surely u would sweat again. conductivity should have been fully restored. if its easy and cheap to replace the battery, wont hurt to give it a try. |

QUOTE(jaykay4540 @ Sep 28 2020, 11:36 PM) few shops provide tester. u can borrow test unit for few days. ok can put into consideration listas i know two wheel only shop provide tester for fabric and fizik. QUOTE(chinti @ Sep 29 2020, 08:36 AM) some bike fitter provide saddle test to let u find out what saddle fits u, perhaps u can go for tht. unfortunately don't have that "someone" hahaor worse case find someone with the saddle u looking for n ask them whether can let u test ride. QUOTE(aquilaTE @ Sep 29 2020, 09:02 AM) nope, the bike fitter does not have tester unit, not doing fitting on mechanical bull and read from computerQUOTE(miaopurr @ Sep 29 2020, 09:06 AM) Bike fitter located at cyclist wardrobe, recommended by a taiko here QUOTE(vhs1 @ Sep 29 2020, 09:52 AM) Currently using default saddle, Giant Contact. Bike fitter suggested to go with Specialized Power Saddle. Thus I'm a little worry if after buying Specialized Power Saddle and still having numbness. |

QUOTE(miaopurr @ Sep 29 2020, 11:07 AM) ok bro will put this into list as wellQUOTE(lilredridinghood @ Sep 29 2020, 11:07 AM) yea not the using mechanical bull type but he solved a lot of my issues, just that the saddle portion after multiple adjustment, it improved but still doesn't kill the numbness. earlier cycling will have numbness for hours after off-saddle, his adjustment solved that but still having numbness on saddle once hitting 25km-ish. then becomes will need to take break every 25km-ish. |

QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ Sep 29 2020, 11:24 AM) yeah if test saddle is possible then that will solve my doubtQUOTE(andrewhtf @ Sep 29 2020, 11:25 AM) saddles are pretty much guess work if you dont have access to a generous fitter haha, copy version, even though the shape looks the same, the feel should still be different i think?so no choice gotta invest and splurge abit. good news is, you should already have your sitting bone width from your earlier fitter so that would narrow down your choice abit plus, with shopee and the wonders of copycat PRC, you get to buy a few different saddles that imitated the shapes (down to a T) for a try, eventually once you found a shape to your liking nobody is stopping you from selling those imitation saddles to buy an original saddle of your choice. this is the first aftermarket saddle i bought for RB, and it's a acopy of that specialised saddle. though i have in mind of trying a few more other saddles but since so far i have no complaints with this one, i'll stick with this for a longer time. ![]() |

Hi, i am thinking of changing the tyres for the first time. Any brands are recommended? My current default tyres are 32c tubeless, plan to change to tube 28c. Prefer something more durable and puncture protection.
