guys am i weird for riding alone?

every week i do at least 300km

i changed route so i will not get bored.

and everytime i go places i got people asking me "sorang ke?"

sometimes this question is making me down and feels like killing me slowly

how do you cope with this problem?
*
solo ride are some times the best ones - you can really clear your mind and go at your own pace thumbsup.gif
dulu naik basikal pergi U pun sama, every now and then will use different routes - change of scenery pun best jugak, can discover new paths, and safety-wise, yang nak rompak you pun susah cause your routes not same everyday laugh.gif

ni kalo saya, i tanya balik je - ada jodoh nak intro ke? laugh.gif
just tag along/layan the makcik or pak cik - some times that is just how some ppl start a conversation - they don't mean any malice nor harm, ride safe and enjoy thumbsup.gif

hope TS can continue with the cycling topic. quite informative.

any idea what good budget for newbie ?
*
idk how to define newbie, but i've spent close to RM 5K for :

1x Polygon MTB (RM 2.4K +, 10+ years ago from Dsara Uptown - the shop next to Village Park)
1x Road Bike (can't recall the brand, or if it had any laugh.gif but was around RM 1.8K from Subang SS14 iirc - also some 6-7years ago)
if include the padded pants, helmets and glove.. and glasses, more or less RM 5K spent laugh.gif

i guess it varies from person to person, i hope you find the right one for your rides thumbsup.gif

my road bike kan, depand belakang pun mid-profile punya wheel..each time gi kayuh 20km+ jer, the rear wheel sure flat, tak masuk lubang or speed hump pon.. is it cause i'm too heavy so the tube can't take my weight or what? sudah replace the tube one too many times, frustrated sweat.gif

check where is the puncture or leak on the tube before replacing it, then check if there are any debris on the same spot on the tyres or wheels
*
cannot be any puncture, the tube and tyre also brand new - tube is decathlon's home/factory brand, the tyre maxxis pursuer 700 28c, sent for bike check-up before cycling, i did not pay attention to the tyre pressure sweat.gif

QUOTE(vhs1 @ Jun 26 2025, 06:02 PM)
Every time who change the tube?
*
few round i done my own, latest was sent to decathlon to do (twice!) - same result jugak rclxub.gif

QUOTE(Justin.Loong @ Jun 26 2025, 06:34 PM)
Can see drillz of your wheel?
What's your weight?
May we know what tyre pressure?
What type of tube you are using?
*
i'm in the high 60sKG, no exceed 70kg - the tube is .. iirc 700 presta, decathlon's home/factory brand

QUOTE(kezsz @ Jun 28 2025, 12:50 PM)
Change your tyre? Maybe your tyre is the culprit. Something must have protrude  your tyre that's why you always get a puncture..
*
i suspected this too hence changed to the maxxis, still same issue, really rclxub.gif
