That's what I used to think too, pumping up to higher pressure means rolls better, but apparently it isn't that simple.

I tried a lower pressure (93 psi @ 25c on a 21mm rim) and to my surprise, I actually find it easier to maintain higher speeds. Went to google more about this, apparently the explanation is that power loss occurs whenever you are bumping around when using tires with too high pressure too. It can depend a lot on the road conditions. If you're riding on a surface as smooth as an indoor track, then probably won't get the same bumpiness as you would for normal road riding.

Definitely do not want a too low PSI, but also don't want to just pump all the way to the max too.

25mm front and 28mm back

Wheels are 28mm wide and internally 21mm so rear tires balloon up to 30-31..

My usual pressure is 100psi and the website recommended 96psi. So can try to drop bit by bit to test.

but funnily, when i put on the chest strap the HR already reading 110+, and when i start cycle saja already 130+. it's not even 2 minutes into cycling.

about not ride hard enough, probably yes, because most of my rides are taman rides anyway. but those rides got mix of climbs and flats mah...

bought wheels recently, from relatively unknown brand rm3k+ topup abit get reynolds under 5k. ended up with ar58x, not disc though.
