Hi Hotlink/Maxis team,
I writing here regarding current issue that happen to most of the Hotlink user facing since 23/12/2019. Due to Hotlink number being barred by maxis because incomplete information given at the registration.
Fyi,i have a few my relative who using the hotlink number and complaint they cannot make any outgoing call,even do topup and cannot use internet data.On behalf of my aunt,i call to hotlink and upon checking they said number suspended by maxis.
Then,hotlink personnel said account owner must walk in maxis centre to update the information before they can unblock the number.In such circumstances,hotlink forced us to update before said date.Unfortunetely,in such short notice even we already use the number more than 1 year. Then,suddenly number being barred due to incomplete information.
As i know,the time when we buy the new hotlink number we given the IC to dealer or any salesperson who sell the number to register.Why after 1 year more than that,hotlink ask user to update the info.While this not at customer fault.
Then,i think no one will make a official complaint like this.Some of my relative very dissappointed with the hotlink service,and they do not have option other than to buy another number.
When call to hotlink careline,they said cannot doing via call-in and must go to maxis centre only.Thing will more complicated,what the alternative we have,when check the balance *122# showing error message, "Your account has been suspend,please call to 123"
Why not make it easy for your customer.I think maxis motto have make it easy for customer but why when we call,they cannot make anything done at their end.
Maxis team,do you put yourself in customer shoes?
Some of them,staying about 100km from your maxis centre.Then cannot go to maxis dealer to update.
Why your dealer cannot make it right at the time of registration.
Simple thing like typo, are u guy do job properly?
Some of IC number incorrect by 1-2 digit. And this not at customer fault.
Its your maxis problem,your system very outdated cannot capture the right information based on malaysian IC.
Please,dont make things harder for your customer.If not,hotlink will lost 50% of existing customer regarding the unresolved issue.On 2019,maxis hotlink team said they upgrade system which is to give better service,but trust me they facing at lot lot issue and complaint and tons of hotlink user porting out to another telco.
Regarding a few previous issue,hotlink still cannot resolve then now they making new problem to their existing customer.
Hotlink customer did not give value to them?They serve prepaid customer like a trash. And not valuable to their revenue that why no one care to giving the instruction.
I hope,hotlink team will learn to put yourself in customer shoes.Some of your customer,due to aged,sick and stay far from your centre cannot go to maxis centre.Given them update via call in and they can continue using the same number.
