tgv used to mention this brand on his channel about the company brand name heritage
supplied to military or navy in usa if not wrong.. quality should be good but I once did a research on the pricing is higher than microbrands and not easily attainable outside of usa. |

Yep, I really wanted it for my GADA piece, but the pricing was a turn off.
Marathon supplies to some military in US and Canada, might be UK as well but I can't remember. They are famous for the quartz piece, NOT their auto piece. Another great feature is their tritium so the lume should be awesome. Their Pilot's Navigator should be cheap now, around usd 140 or so. |

QUOTE(Arvinaaaaa @ Dec 24 2019, 09:53 AM) Well Marathon is pretty unknown in these part of the world....and yes I agree that for RM2-3K, I would probably go for other well known brands...but since my friend is asking for half that amount for the Marathon, I think it's worth considering.... |

They've been getting very good reviews. I feel the marathon at 40-41 is a bit small tho but since its such a bargain I'm willing to overlook the size 😁 |

QUOTE(khopl @ Dec 27 2019, 12:43 AM) Lazada?! 🤔 buy based on past purchases review from other buyersWhen it comes to buying watches or anything that costs more than a few hundred ringgit, I'd avoid buying online. No confident lah... Lol!! Unless COD if the price seems right and not dodgy then usually it is safe to proceed with the purchase |

QUOTE(kl920930 @ Dec 27 2019, 09:15 AM) buy based on past purchases review from other buyers What about buying from overseas? Will there be any tax imposed by customs? Its very confusing as some buyers received their orders without any issues...some not so lucky. I've also read somewhere that the value of the watch will determine the amount of tax. Wtf!?if the price seems right and not dodgy then usually it is safe to proceed with the purchase |
