just buy those baby shampoo, put it in water bucket, use damp cloth to wipe the seat clean. then use baby oil to recondition the leather. for badly wrinkled leather to the state where its almost cracking, you can use vaseline.

Last time use Xymol which I think it's a good product as it soften leather

Then I found another cheaper alternative which is coconut oil.

Clean leather first, then after dry apply coconut oil.

I bought some oil in sachets, basically apply on all cushion use 2sachets
Can do it every month also and your leather will feel very soft

But won't the coconut oil make the car seat stained and oily?

And how do you apply the coconut oil on the leather? Using a normal cloth or are there any specific materials to be used?

apply thin layer.
leave it for 30min, then use dry cloth and wipe of excess. then leave it for 12hrs or so. (need sometime for the oil to absorb in)
apply too thick it cant dry.

next day cushion will feel very smooth and soft
usually i'll apply at night

Which do you reckon? Coconut oil or Leather conditioner?

And by coconut oil do you mean any coconut oil sold in hypermarket, or are there a specific type of coconut oil to be used?

at first i use Xymol, small bottle 35++ (from Ace).
Xymol finish, then i buy another type. manatau it's not good. wasted whole bottle only use once.

then i fed up go search natural ingredients and found coconut oil is good for leather (shoes / cushions)

Good leather conditioners like Xymol are expensive (actually it smells like body lotion), can give that protective shine, i think it contains some cleaning agents as well.

so using coconut oil, just need to clean one time before applying the oil.

result wise is the same, just the waiting time for it to dry. coconut oil takes longer time

i noticed there's a small tiny crack on my seat there.
it's brighter than leather, after applied leather conditioner / coconut oil it's gone.
usually it takes near to 3months for the crack to re-appear.

so leather dries up the cracks come back.

good suggestion on the coconut oil. buy a big bottle, multiple uses! good for health too.

I recommend meguiars gold class leather cleaner for ease of use, not so oily and slippery and nice smell.
buy from shoppee for lowest price.

Personally i prefer the old bottle, yellow cream. but now only have the high tech gel type.

Leather conditioner is good enough if you do it frequently. I got this from shopee and it's okay.
