lanparty series now have all solid caps.. my nf4 ultra-d lan part ut sli dun even have all solid caps. dem. looks nice.

Don't say like that lar, that's because the NF4 Ultra D Lanparty board is an old motherboard d.
When DFI launches the NF4 Ultra D Lanparty, that time, there's no solid capacitors yet, that's why your motherboard doesn't have the all solid capacitors.

Correct me if i'm wrong guys.

solid cap launch long time ago just high cost compare to electrolytic capacitors
and now day the gigabyte push the solid cap into the advertisement
and all those less knowledge to computer will just buy what the salesman introduce dun care is it their really need
so all the mobo factory follow the gigabyte
and solid really has batter performance and longer life

cant see clearly but according to amd the am2 and am2+ is compatible so i think it will be the same socket ....

obviously not a S-939 though... i think it's either AM2 or AM2+ , anyway... , this is what i'm looking for, a nice DFI AM2 (i think) motherboard... , i wonder, where's the 4-pin/8-pin power connector, where is it...

a new thing to discover is look at the pwm area
i think there are 4 phase digital pwm and !!
all those small if no wrong is smd capacitor which less loss in power and less resistance for air flow
means less heat oso

Very interesting mobo if they get the hi-end AND consumer markets with 1 chip. Even more interesting if it's cheaper than P35s and X38s respectively.

AMD already making their own chipset way back during the socket A era. No one remember the world first DDR chipset? It's the AMD 760.

RD790 has maximum 41 PCI-E 2.0 lanes. Quad crossfire? But not in this motherboard i guess.

This should be enthusiast part. Hope will have mainstream and combine with K10 vs P35 with C2Q. AMD claim this board is better than X38 in terms of power consumption but dont know bout overclockability yet. Seems K10 even struggling at 2.5GHz, wonder how far can oc.

K10 HTT is 3.0 right? Does OCing related to this because current AM2/AM2+ from Biostar is HTT 2.0

It does looks nice to me, and from what i see, you're the only one who complains about the design of this motherboard.

RD790 is AM2+ ready. Maybe the same chipset gonna use for S1027+

The only thing I would love to see Intel and AMD has something mutual, would probably universal cooler specification for both platform. It'll never happen.

OK so if you use 2 PCIEx16 for a dual graphics card solution, what on earth are you going to do with the other 2? Another reason to pay more money for features you're not going to use?

@daniel_lyw, RD790 wont come in m-atx version. Degrade version with integrated X1250 may hav...

Did you know AMD had buy ATI few months ago ? Now all officially new launch product from ATI will using AMD brand names , that's why RD790 call as AMD RD790 .

MicroATX versions have options of DX10 IGP.
Certainly more powerful than X1250/GF7050 etc.

X1250 and 7050 is just old generations IGP . DX9 and 2-4 pixel pipeline . I using nVidia IGP mobo cant even play NFS Underground 2 ( real old game ) smooth .

No ,this is a real AM2+ mobo. One and the only one am2+ chipset yet.

Wont be available now , since AMD-ATI havent officially launch the chipset . I just hope the OC ability will be high enough to fight Intel , at least on low-end product since even Intel's lowest end Core 2 Duo product Pentium E2140 OC ablility is quite high ( 1400MHz FSB )
