Just now early morning go eat breakfast heard sound from nearby mosque.
Then do some google search. It's call solat fajr, which is around 5am - 6am depending on location.

That means Muslim need to wake up 5am everyday for solat?? Betul kah?

Fajr= Subh..most part of the world refer it to solat fajr.
Us south east asean country called it subuh

terminologi Solat Subuh lebih prominent di Nusantara. Tapi di tempat-tempat lain.. solat Fajr.

Mana-mana pun boleh, janji gi solat.

Niat ain't an issue as you can even say it in local languages for all that matter.. There are tons of other religious obligations where the lafaz niat/utterance of intention is done in local language, including nikah & zakat.

Not trying to vroom, but solat times were actually designed for desert people.

It's very hot in Arab, so the people there woke up early, worked in the morning, and rest in the afternoon. Hence the first solat was before they started work, and the next four were after they returned from work. Somehow this practice spread to the whole world.
