Oneweb, one of the new startups that triggered the renewed race for LEO broadband satellites went into bankruptcy last month. The tech may have matured some since the Teledesic days but the cost of the end user terminal is still a stumbling block. They failed to show strong enough business case to secure the next block financing during these uncertain times.
