Grab driver cancel & platinum grab advise

Hello to all my seniors here, hoping for some answers as I just started driving for grab 3 days now. Regarding driver cancelling are we allowed to and what reason should I put? Recently had to send some passengers deep into some jungle places dark no proper lighting and one lane road..
For grab platinum is it worth gunning for? Do we get priority queue for being platinum in relation to customers received? Sprry many questions hope some light can be shed.
