10 years is a lot of advancement even with local brands.
Personally I feel that its useless to refurb a car unless you took good care of it from day1. Even so, it still has to be something worthy of refurb and myvi is definitely not in my list unless you really cant afford a better car. It all boils down to how much you hate your current car versus how stingy are you with money.
I would say the current myvi is light years better than the old myvi in terms of safety and nvh at the very least. However there is one thing you need to take notice with new myvi. Fuel pump is failing left and right for no known reason. Sister car just had one failure, less than a year. Replacement took ages as they didnt have the gasket that should be changed along with the fuel pump.
Buy a new myvi or refurbish my old myvi, My old myvi is 10years old
