Also second hint was when Rey died Finn immediately felt that she died. He gasped and whispered her name - just like how both Rey and Kylo stunned when Leia suddenly died.

for me the movie was OK. its darker than the ROTS. however, i didnt really like name name Palpatine being used, i prefer Darth Sidious. i knew he is the same but Darth Sidious is more sinister, its the Sith title.

After TFA, i so much wanted Snoke to be revealed as Darth Plageuis, those hints are too good to resist. Sad, end up he was just a clone.

How could the resistance (mainly new characters) knew who Emperor Palpatine was?

The story line build up is so loose until you can simply bluff any bangkai ending. If I living in 90s I love it.

the story fails to outdo what has already been written in the "expanded universe" which disney has discarded. if they cannot come out with a better idea, they should have stick to the plots in the "expanded universe", which has way better villains and character developments and plot twists.

For me , the Star Wars classic was built by humor, adventure and comedy scene especially from R2 and C3PO , Han Solo and chewbacca , romance between princess leia , skywalker and solo in the end .

i think the rest of the star wars scene copied from the start. The largest battle and these time the dog fights mcm pondan .

The final celebration can't beat the Grand departing in Return of the jedi.

My recollection is starwars was much more complicated then that. It has a good storyline. The humour and comedy part is not very much actually.

yes. storyline was good . those days was more about storyline and good dialogues.
now focused more on CGI and fast scene due to millennial short attention span.

That's why only watch K dramas .

They really mess up the whole starwars Francise to be honest.

The whole plot hinges on easy conveniences
Buried in quicksand and found dagger
Random villain starship left untouched by jawas and scavenger
Random death star ruin that stay intact by waves perfectly matches the dagger

Han apparently had longer hair here compared to when he died

The "lightspeed hopping" at the beginning pretty much hints at how the rest of the movie is gonna be.

i liked TLJ better. at least we've got the illusion that kylo ren will be the ultimate big baddie after he killed snoke

Actually, you have to ask George Lucas for that. He did it in ROTJ when Vader throw him down, he was still shooting lightning. Even in ROTS, when Mace Windu was fighting, blocking and pantul his force lightning, he did not stop until it disfigured him.

Palpatine is too confident of the Dark side. So that is why whenever he uses lightning, he won't stop because he thought he is Ip Man. There's another explanation is if he stops, the Jedi who is attacking him can easily strike him down with their lightsaber. The lightning acts like a shield to him.

Most cibai answer ever ahahaha.. I rather her say palpatine.. they should just let her be kenobi's granddaughter.. must better story telling..

Or you know, she could just say,
