Also, is there a way to set up an auto reboot for my default Maxis router so that it can solve the slow wifi speed problem?
I also don't keep my router on 24/7, I usually switch it off around 11pm and switch it on again at 8 am when I wake up, if that makes a difference.
(the problem I do have with having to continuously reboot my modem is that I use a wireless Canon printer that relies on my home Wifi to set up a connection between my devices (laptops / smartphones) to the printer. Everytime I've reset / rebooted my Maxis router, I have to do the entire Wireless setup for the Canon printer AGAIN, which is very tedious.
Just buy those power outlet timer. Put one at the router and another at the printer. Set the printer timing to boot 5-10 minutes after router boot.I also don't keep my router on 24/7, I usually switch it off around 11pm and switch it on again at 8 am when I wake up, if that makes a difference.
