Was thinking of getting myiptv4k and media box to go with it. Was comparing these two - MiBox S or Tanix TX6. If I mainly use it to watch AOD on Astro, Live Football, Netflix HD. I don't need 4k, but it's just nice to have. But best to have strong connectivity on Wifi, and not LAN. Which do you recommend?

Mibox s can do netflix hd but cannot do astrogo smoothly.

Tx6 when unrooted can do astrogo but not netflix hd.

Get both.

Netflix HD/4K requires Google widevine L1 as well as HDCP 2.2.

TVs without 4K capability will likely not having HDCP 2.2.

Are there TV without 4K which is capable of HDCP 2.2 ?

Then any other recommended TV box that can play these two properly? TX3?

If I have to prioritize, it would be for AOTG. After some research, the recommended models are TX3 and TX6. Forum is saying TX3 is good, while TX6 has overheating problem. When I asked sellers (that sells both TX3 and TX6), he say TX6 is the best

Don't waste your time with TX6. Get the TX3 S905X3. It is the newest box from Tanix with the S905X3 chip, and its performance is much better than the TX6. Look for it on Shopee. Make sure it is TX3 with S905X3 and not the old TX3.

TX6 if overheat can remedy by usb blower fan

tx3 can't use iflix live tv features.. unless u are liga m fans, then go for tx3.. much more faster

the best is to read what users of both boxes say, decide on yr own - price, features, ease of use, etc.

Mi Box S - for Netflix 4K it's fine....but not for AOTG and the latest PlayTV@unifi (tablet), does not work at all...what a crap.

Go buy Nvidia Shield 2017/2019.. if can't afford, amazon fire tv cube 2nd gen 2019.. u can enjoy both aotg/netflix 4K@HD..

The S905X4 boxes will start appearing early next year 2020. It's hard to play catch up.

Besides, there are so many S905X3 boxes out there on the cheap besides the TX3. There's the A95X F3, the X96 Air and the Magicsee N5 which came out later than the TX3 with better box design and remote sets.
