Hi guys, I got a tama starclassic performer drum set that i want to sell off but I'm not so sure how much to sell it for. The drums are 1 year old which is consider quite new as u can see in the pictures below. I bought it for RM10500 from bentley. The reason i want to sell this superb drum set off is because i wanna get a DW drum set. So guys, I really need ur feedbacks on the pricing, thanks. The drums consists of, 18x22 bass, 8x10 tom, 9x12 tom, 16x16 floor tom, 5.5x14 snare Star-cast mounting system die cast zinc hoops sliding tom holder base. Made in Japan Birch shells The hardware are all roadpro series which consists of, 1 hihat stand 1 snare stand 1 boom stand 1 straight stand 1 iron cobra kick drum pedal. QUOTE(TheWhacker @ Jul 14 2007, 11:15 AM) So just ask for the pricing adivce and not asking for buyers. Ok ? yeah, juz asking bout the pricing and then will post it at garage sales when i want to sell it. Added on July 15, 2007, 12:17 amQUOTE(echobrainproject @ Jul 14 2007, 11:47 AM) as far as i know, drum prices drop alot once theyre used (unlike guitars) even though its still in a good condition and about a year old. i might be wrong though you can try listing at about 60% to 70% of the price, see if there are interested parties. thanks for the feedback, but i want to know why drum prices drop alot more than guitar? QUOTE(Rossie @ Jul 14 2007, 01:58 PM) I think you wouldn't have any problems selling it at around RM7k... I think 7k will be reasonable, but would buyers rather buy a new drum kit than to buy mine?? and wif 7k u can get a new drum kit and probably good cyambals too. Added on July 15, 2007, 12:26 amQUOTE(SweetTooth @ Jul 15 2007, 12:19 AM) my guess.. more whacking and slamming whacking and slamming are only on drum heads what. Drum heads are changeable and I would be very kind to change the drum heads if the buyer insists of new ones. This post has been edited by justinckl: Jul 15 2007, 12:26 AM

QUOTE(Rossie @ Jul 15 2007, 08:02 AM) So you'll need to emphasize more on the word "Starclassic"! Good cymbals ain't cheap too, the basic crash, ride and hats plus some extra hardware would be around RM2~3k already. Can't really buy a highend drumset like yours with RM4k. Maybe your target buyers would be semi-professional to professional players? A Starclassic at RM6~7k is really a good buy. All the best! Yeah, i should emphasize more on the 'starclassic' word. haha!!! With 7k u could buy a superstar and some cymbals which u said 2-3k and when u total it up, I dont think it will even reach 7k. Well, I think that if u are good in ur playing, u will certainly careless of what kind of drums u're playing on and it's all depends on fine tuning and ur good playing. Once again thanks for ur feedback. Guys, what do u think of the drum colour??
