I bought the NVME SSD 1TB as external storage for my Series S. transfer speed is quite fast. I've seen YT compare speed, its almost same with the existing internal storage. downside is, its only for running Xbox One or 360/xbox1 games. you need to transfer to internal storage if you want to play X|S symbol games.

this is the time I'm cursing MS for supporting propriety expandable storage

Just added 2Tb to my PS5 for less than RM600, whereas Xbox will need to spend a bit more for just 1Tb doh.gif

SSD price is coming down fast and hard, sooner or later it might be getting cheaper than the HDD

due to the quick resume i think. coz if i add 2tb nvme ssd it only allow install and play xbox one and 360 games. x|s game need to
move to internal each time you want to play.

Series game need the expansion card. any usb drive (nvme or sata) only for xbox one and 360.

yeah that expansion from Seagate, around RM1k for 1TB. if you're Series S, you'll really need it. unless you buy the 1TB black color one. but no point liao. might as well buy the series X.
