Yes - especially if you play modern Xbox games. I plan to play mostly emulated oldschool games, so not really in my use-case. Series S games targeting for 1440p gaming and Series X 4k 120Hz.

Raytracing for 1080p/60fps can - but sometimes (most of the time?) it's lowered to 900p/30fps but upscaled to 1080p/1440p/4k - depending on tv/monitor.

Side by side with it’s big bro - all white console generation for me this year

First day (and first time) using the Xbox Series S controller... This bloody thing is NOISY! The D-Pad makes too much clicky noise and the buttons is noisy when pressed too. Will this reduce over time? Or did I have a lemon controller. The Dualsense is comparatively silent.

Enjoying playing retro games on this device - and work flawlessly. There are some input lag though, so I need to tweak the settings somewhat.

Can you please recommend to me which Xbox exclusive should I play first? Am still thinking whether to get the GamePass, as I already have the free PS5 PS Plus Collection library of unplayed games.

I do remember you bro. I wanted to go PCMR but the silicon I wanted was OOS everywhere, and funnily enough, the PS5 was easiest for me to get, so I stayed with console this year - btw PS5 will be available for preorder again either tomorrow or Friday, so there is a chance XSX is a great console too, arguably better than PS5 in terms of capability & Game Pass option.

I got myself XSS too coz emulation + Xbox exclusives
