I don't really count. But the main ones will be for summer, halloween and Christmas sales. Then they have some event related sales like for E3 or Xbox events. Of course there's also publisher discounts, like Capcom or Namco Bandai sales.

Just took a dive and bought a SS import set to replace my old xb one with a dying hdd. Actually I was waiting for Qisahn's stocks for SX sg set but got tired of waiting. Actually to think again its not that bad buying the series s for RM1699 for import set considering transport and tax charges to bring the items in. Was resorting to import set myself prolly from Amazon but it was all sold out as well and when it was available last time the cost of bring it in including postage+tax is around that price(RM1699) as well. So might as well bought it locally.

Btw, got myself the unit from GH thru shopee.  It's RM1699 ready stock instead of RM1799 on their website. Now, patiently waiting for the item to arrive

That's something Microsoft has been great at starting with the Xbox One. I think it's fair to say PS4 absolutely destroyed the Xbox One last gen in terms of sales and also getting exclusives. That doesn't mean Xbox was a bad console. The backwards compatibility has been expanded even further. If you had an Xbox One X, certain games were also enhanced for Xbox One X, giving you improved textures, better framerates, or even 4k resolution. Your gamer profile and gamesaves are also stored in the cloud. If you have multiple Xbox systems, it's just a matter of logging in to whichever system you want to use, and your save will be synchronized.

Microsoft also started some gamer friendly features like Xbox Play Anywhere, where you also received the Windows Store version of a game when you bought the Xbox version. Play Anywhere titles also support cross save functionality, so you can start on PC, then continue on Xbox or vice versa. And of course, with the Series X|S consoles, they also have Smart Delivery. For games that have Smart Delivery, you just buy the game once, and you play it on last gen Xbox One or current gen Series X|S consoles. Depending on which system you play it on, the Xbox will download only the relevant assets for your console. In most cases, your savegame will also carry forward. So, if you are still rocking an Xbox One, you can play the game now, then at a later time when you have a Series X|S console, just log in to the new console with the same gamer profile, and your saves will carry over. This is something that has never been done at this level. Typically when a new gen starts, you leave your old games behind.
