Yeah not worth it. But buying SSD confusing af. Didnt know PS5 cant accept Gen3 SSD. And my brother a bit picky with SSD speed. kemon la why this SSD Gen4 but speed like XSX aka Gen3 speed. get Gen4 with minimum speed 5000MBps la. Some TBW a bit low while some can reach up to PentaByte. Dram or dramless & etc. In the end I settle for KC3000 2TB for RM500 for that b*stard. Hopefully it last long enough for him.

Now I'm wondering should I make my PC Direct Storage ready. I just bought some cheapo Gen3 SSD from Gigabyte for my build 2-3 months ago. That KC3000 spec does looks tempting compare to other high end SSD

Prefer the all digital to be 2TB but the price maybe $550 ~ RM2500. Nevermind then I'll keep my SX. Still have the 1TB expansion card. Just Reapply the thermal paste after 3+ years in service hopefully should last up until 2026/27. Enough time for next gen

Overheating it will shutdown almost instantly in any game I play. dont care 360, One or Series game. I need to play in very cold room for it to not shutdown. I tried to repair it myself but cant get pass X clamp. Send to repair last week & the shop send video on how hard the thermal paste is.

Yup. Bought mine in Jan 2021.
