IMO the card loophole is still there, it's just not very consistent in detecting and stopping the cross region buying

For my case,
main account: some cards will be able to buy once after few weeks it was rejected, but only once, next purchases will be rejected again
secondary account: same BP card as above, but no issue buying as gift to gift to my main account, but you're only limited to 8 gifts quota per month IINM

managed to buy a few cheap DLCs using my secondary account as gifts just last night

last night i try my phone connected to 4G (not using home wifi) and able to connect to my own Xbox.
the downside is my 4G at house not good, so the quality of streaming is very bad.

i got metro in steam too, but i did install and play it (did not complete). but witcher, buy but never even install once. my bro keep on telling me its a very good game all the time. 

Haha i bought witcher 3 GOTY on discount years ago when the xbox one x came out.  I tested it for the 60fps gameplay and haven't touched it since.  You know these open world games just want to suck up all your time doing some fetch or killing side quest.

I had a scare just now when my XSX kept asking me to update to play online then the update process kept getting stuck at 3%, tried various solutions for an hour to no avail.

When the offline system update kept failing, I thought I need to send the console for repair. Then I remember I am on different version as I am subscribed to the insider program, but the offline update file for preview build isn't available for download.

Luckily there's a workaround, I can use Xbox Insider Hub app on PC and unenrolling the console. Wait few mins and restart the console then it let me update back to normal build, I only lost my user profile along with the display settings.

To be fair, only Playstation has been brought over and supported locally. All consoles before and current are just parallel imports. It's been that way forever, except when Sony sold Playstation here officially. All the other systems were sold in Malaysia, sure, but the parent companies themselves don't support officially support it.

For those who remember, the OG PS1 was sold officially by Sony Malaysia via Sony Wings. Though kinda lacking and half assed, it was a start. Sony Wings brought in only NTSC/J versions, and not the English versions. I actually put in an official request for Sony to bring in English versions of the games.

It was then during the PS2 era that we started seeing NTSC/J Asia versions of games. Though most people would still only buy pirated games during the PS2 era, it was important in building the customer base in Malaysia. Since then, all major Playstation consoles were sold and supported in Malaysia. And people do buy them even without pirated content.

Microsoft can't continue to use the excuse that we are just a small portion of their market. If they truly believe that, why not just exit Malaysia completely? Stop selling Surface, heck stop selling Windows here. We are here, Microsoft. And we are big fans of Xbox. Don't continue to ignore our existence.
