Nice, 4K60 with RT is a huge in terms of power processing, especially for a game like Metro. One of my favorite games.

Is the performance so noticeable between S and X?

Yes - especially if you play modern Xbox games. I plan to play mostly emulated oldschool games, so not really in my use-case. Series S games targeting for 1440p gaming and Series X 4k 120Hz.

yeah 60fps.

Performance maybe not (as of now) but graphic wise, yes.
It also depends on developer, too.

Overall me tested both console on same 4K TV (samsung NU8000) and 1440p monitor (Samsung G7)

First party Games like Gears of War 5 and Forza Horizon 4 are doing well on optimization performance on 60fps.
Graphic on Forza Horizon 4 are noticeably tone down on Series S if played on 4k TV since it is upscaled.
Can easily see those gigi/teeth on environment beside cars.

If you play on below 4k like 1440p/1080p then i think should not be a problem.

yeah me too, metro series is really nice. love the story and the graphics is owes at the front edge. i can live with dynamic 4k and 60fps with ray tracing. After playing control and u can switch on off raytracing and non raytracing, i cant go back to non raytracing mode, the environment and lighting diff is alot to my eyes. guess for those who cannot differentiate then 60fps is better lol. not competitive game, 30fps is just nice, just need awhile to adjust the smoothness. had been living with 30fps for so long lol. Wanna see more graphical breakthru. Not sure if you guys watching movie with motion interpolation on but i felt very sick on that.


probably but spider morales is 1080p when RT on? i bought exodus already when having deal, but now is cheaper abit lol. buy first, wait for update since is free update. not cut throat like activision or remedy lol. this metro exodus developer is good.

Raytracing for 1080p/60fps can - but sometimes (most of the time?) it's lowered to 900p/30fps but upscaled to 1080p/1440p/4k - depending on tv/monitor.

If you check Devil May Cry 5 SE, it got mention no RT support for XSS

I think MS toke that away its because on 360 you can only have a max 4 player, on Xbox One you can have 8 players.

Kinect was part of the xbox one, having kinect it would track the user controller with your gamertag profile, so if you would to switch controller with friends the profile would swap. hence it doesnt matter which controller you hold you are always controlling the same player. when you take Kinect away this feature probably doesnt work anymore.

Spiderman Miles Morales had performance mode (4k/60 without RT) and fidelity mode (4k/30 with RT) at launch. But they added a new mode called performance RT. This mode runs at 4k/60 with RT. Obviously sacrifices have to be made elsewhere to achieve this. I was actually wondering if the implementation for Metro Exodus would be something like that.

Perhaps because the S spec not meet their RT support..

may the 3rd party dev didnt get the new dev kit yet.... wait for update maybe
