for the player looking to get xbox series x, i suggest getting SG set or Europe set. dont get japan set.
japan set if unlucky have few problem like controller and hdmi issue.
my japan set so far have controller issue. (controller still connect and on, but idle for few second like when cut scene on game or just put down, after that press any buttons, not function. have to remove the battery and re- on it)
i read there is 5G wifi signal with asia routers things with the controller but my console is wired connection with my router....
before that i have black screen problem after restart xbox or sometimes on games it just black screen. it might be the hdmi cable or port, but now i think its been fix by the latest console updates. so far not happen anymore for me...
so, better get SG set or europe set.
Mate, that’s an unfair judgement.
I am a fellow Japan set owner since mid Dec-20 and I don’t face any issues like you are facing.
Microsoft themselves are famous for screwing up with their accessories, especially the controllers - similar to my Elite 2 controller - I have RMA it 3 times, bought in December and I still have yet to own it for more than 2 weeks because it kept going back to the seller to RMA. Would I tell people not to buy the Elite 2 because of my experience? No.
If you are referring to radio interference from wifi channels causing issues with your console, now that’s news to me. It does cause interference on some XBOX Accessories because most Bluetooth devices will have clashing radio / frequency band - hence why it is recommended to use XBOX’s proprietary wireless 2.4Ghz band instead.
You might want to hard-reset the controller and see if it still persists. Also, try with another controller to see if it’s really a faulty controller.
The HDMI issue could be caused by static / loose ports, perhaps try switching out the cable and see if it still persists - in no way the above reasons are deterrent to people buying XBOX regardless of which country it comes from.
Just my 2 cents.
