X1 days end up falling asleep at the first chapter

guess age is catching up... hardly got any motivation to play my old X360 library (>100 disc titles), it's been collecting dust since many years back
probably I'll have to sell them off one day

Yup you're not wrong about Gamepass uers not really buying too many games. I think most of the 3rd party games I will get on PC anyhow. Very, very few are purchased anymore. And even if I buy games on Xbox it will be during sales events.

Minor issue is Dolby Atmos will drop off whenever change game, it's a issue since Xbox one

Somehow I never encounter the Atmos dropping off when changing game issue.

For my Xbox One X, the sound output changes to Dolby Digital IF my Xbox is turned on before the Yamaha amplifier. Basically the Xbox detects that the upstream connection to the amp doesn't detect it having Atmos capability. If I turn on the amp after the Xbox, the sound setting will revert to Dolby Digital only. Not a big ssue. I just have to go back to the sound settings and change back to Dolby Atmos.

Mine is if default set Dolby Atmos in System menu and then play any game sometime will trigger no sound issue.

Need to go to audio setting under system menu switch from Atmos > other format > Atmos then back to game, the audio will come back.

However right now i done my Gears 5 and playing those non-atmos game, so default setting right now is Dolby Digital.

Somehow the DTX feels weak for me, though.

Specially right now i'm playing the Dragon Quest 11 i tested between DTX and Dolby Digital, that grand feel so weak under DTX.

Btw, i'm using Samsung Q950T

Weak in what sense? The fidelity? The surround effect? For my setup at least Dolby Atmos output is louder, crisper and has better surround effects.

Overall Dolby does better job I must say.

Dolby Atmos > DTS:X cause height effect
Dolby digital > DTS cause DTS just feel lower volume and not grand feel

The funny part is Dolby Digital has the lowest bitrate of all. Just at 640kps maximum. DTS is 1.5Mbps. Atmos should be noticeably better than both. How do your speakers sound for Dolby Atmos tracks in movies? Either for Bluray or some Netflix shows?
