Just noticed in bios that my ram is in single channel ohmy.gif
Is there anything I can do to make it read as dual channel?

Take both RAM sticks out, put back in again. I'm guessing one of the sticks probably loose

Also if its running single channel is it 4GB in task manager or 8GB?

XMP where got affect that, XMP only affect RAM speed lah

And OP using 2200G, if he no dedicated GPU confirm lah the RAM kena makan if not how get VRAM to power the GPU

great .

you can try to benchmark your system

https://www.userbenchmark.com/Software

with 2666 speed ram on dual mode ..you should get about 30Gb/s ram bandwidth . Quite fast this .
if on single channel mode is about 15 Gb/s.

I run the benchmark & got 32.6 GB/s. meaning its already in dual channel.
Maybe have to wait for bios update for the wrong info on startup

Yes in bios. search XMP profile in the memory section and load. or you can configure the RAM timing manually. don't leave it on auto. some motherboard cannot configure the RAM timing correctly.

i am not referring to the 6gb RAM. of course 2 gb will go to the onboard GPU. what i mean is for the dual channel problem. some ryzen motherboard cannot configure the timing correctly. you have to load the XMP profile or configure the timing manually. dont leave it on auto.

I have done this, still have the single channel on startup.
As mention before, benchmark show speed reading correctly for dual channel, so I dont have to worry about it anymore

Update your BIOS. There is multiple memory compatibility enhancement.
