I'm asking on the ladies section because I don't believe moisturizer or sunblock products have different properties for men and women's skin.

Scared of aging but mainly because my skin burns in the sun easily. mad.gif

I know that the spf+ is how long the protection lasts and not how much it blocks. so anything with 30 and 50 spf for me would be fine.

Something I can find online would be nice but I'm open to going to my local health beauty stores.

Also looking for moisturizer, my skin can look dull and flaky at times.

Budget: no more than rm50 for each item.

Your budgeting method is slightly flawed. Would you prefer a RM40 for a 20ml moisturizer or RM100 for a 80ml moisturizer? Packaging size is the most common tactic to make skincare look cheaper. Besides packaging, there are other factors to consider too but it’s a bit lengthy to explain.

Okay. without the flawed budgeting into consideration, what are my product options?

If you're looking for exact product recommendations, I don't have any unfortunately  sweat.gif  You gotta explore on your own regarding that.

I can give pointers to look out for only.

For sunscreen, SPF 30-50 is correct for normal day to day use.
For moisturizer, try to get gel or water based ones cause i think your skin is dehydrated.
Avoid toners with alcohol
If your skin is really dull, consider exfoliating (scrub) or get something (usually serums) with vitamin C.

If you want easily accessible places, just visit Aeon Wellness, Guardian or Watson. If you're brave & adventurous, visit skincare shops like Sephora, Sasa, Shins, Body Shop, Face Shop etc.

Owh yea, there are some Malaysian vloggers that you can follow to learn more if you want.

update thank you for the vlogger suggestion, received a few hand me downs from friends and family of products that some of them recommended and they seem to work well on my skin. the skin dryness is surely going away and with minor irritation since i started using them. pores look nicer and skin is starting to lose its dullness.

- been using eversoft cleanser, nice and gentle.
- Avon matifying toner, a handmedown, will try to get something better if I can.
- oxywhite moisturizer, this is the coolest thing I've ever found.

Haven't settled with a sunscreen yet. been mostly couped up indoors too lazy to go out.

- UV Perfect Face Milk
(This is waterproof so you might want to buy makeup remover to remove it, I use cleansing oil.
Also, this sunscreen does leave a white cast and may make your skin look ashy when applied if your skin is abit darker.
Lastly, this made my skin dry. If you have oily skin it's great for oil control)

Biore UV Body Serum Intensive White makes a great body sunscreen smile.gif

For moisturizer I've always used Nivea Cream if I need heavy duty hydration. On my normal days, I use Nivea Care.

I'll try the water one when I find them, as I want to start with something simple. I'll at the body one too.
