ATE has been selling tagan for a long time already. tagan psu is very pricey but it boasts its single rail power.

What's the main point of this topic?

probably to introduce it to other forumer who haven heard of it like me

eh i thought, this been brought up couple months ago... , well Tagan PSU isn't bad and yeah, single rail always better than multi-rail ...

Well, tagan is the only PSU maker i've seen that uses Metal films, but their topology isn't as good as i'd expect. I do own a Easycon 430W. They do have some issues with noise and ripple at high load, but i guess besides that, they're quite ok.

i've just heard of it, but i think it's quite underrrated.. don't know much about its power though

Underrated but abit too expensive. I rather choose Silverstone first...

Tagan can only be obtained in ATE AFAIK..Highly priced but heard some great things about them..

, IMO, Tagan same level with Silverstone, it's just that, Silverstone got more publicity , anyway... bear in mind, buying Tagan PSU, you really need to measure it's size and compatible with casing, because, Tagan's size always an issue when installing in casing...

IMO,i think Tagan is better than SS lo....
western guys like to use Tagan to make review of hardwares,cause it's stable with its heavy duty single rail.

Tagan isn't new here. ATE had it since 2003 or maybe earlier than that.

actually theres a shop in Mid Valley IT Centre that sells them Tagan PSUs. and yeah...theyre expensive..


hard to say...havent really read much about tagan vs silverstone... but if ur looking at price per watt... tagan is waaaaaayyy more expensive.

U guys gotta check out ATI and nVidia website to check out their certified PSU... i also planning to upgrade... juz dunno whether to get Tagan or Silverstone...

i didn't know of any 430W Tagan... but i can give Tagan TG480 RM380... TG420 RM340...
negotiable price... although the selling point here is the quality instead of rated wattage... Tagan is famous outta M'sia...

using tagan tg380-u01, 3 yrs oledi.
still solid and silent.

i use tagan easycon 430watt..performance?? i overclocked my e4300 to 3.3ghz with 1.4V on the core,sli 7900gs,and juz bought a new harddisk..so it powers 2 harddisk..rock solid..been using for more than a year now..b4 this powered my venice core n 1950xtx..

TAGAN are not so famous in malaysia

Since the price not famous the distro should do some special promotion price, in order gain publicity & attract more local end users...

tagan is not a very good psu..... ask johnny guru

tagan may not be popular here in malaysia but in western country..never seen it before but read about it..can get it for RM245-380W, Rm300-420W and RM 480-480W at PC Zone.
