Hi everyone, would like to ask which CPU is more benefit for running Adobe CC (which version i wasnt sure)? will it be Intel i7-8700, Ryzen 7 3700x or Ryzen 5 3600. Other PC part/spec will be as below. Never planned on OC these CPU.
CPU: Either Intel or AMD as above mentioned
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Nvidia Quadro P620 (Use back from current PC setup)
Storage: 480GB SSD and 2TB HDD

I've google this question and seem like didnt get the answer i am looking for and most of the benchmark are for gaming.

Would like to hear opinion from actual graphic designer or PC builder who actually built PC for graphic designer. Any other spec or suggestion are welcomed

You need Xeon based workstation with ECC RAM for superior system stability.

*Any fast CPU would be fine. / Xeon would be stable
*More RAMS the better.
*Get a gaming GPU for graphical/design works (GTX is getting cheaper)

Any particular software you use?

E.g., designing, rendering, etc

Thanks for the suggestion, maybe will change the RAM from 16GB to 32GB. Too bad the GPU is unable to change due to the Quadro is bought recently and requested from the graphic designer them self, i've suggested GTX series to them but they still insist on getting Quadro series .

This PC wont be building for my self, it will be for Graphic Design Dept in my company. Majorly will be using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effect.

With these software, an Intel i7 would actually be enough. but that solely depends on your budget if you want to go for a Xenon.

Quadro cards are good rendering, which would great paired with a Xenon.

Yes, 32GB RAM these days.

32GB put it on quad channel. Yes I use to procure stuffs for enterprise users as well.

Can't go wrong with any, I'm using the 1800X for my graphics / photography / video works.

The 3700X and 3600X, you won't feel any difference for those software you listed, in Premiere Pro is where the difference is there, 3700X will give you faster render time.

Any AMD chip cause all of them can do ECC ram as long as the mobo allows it

Thought CPU and GPU would be more important for Graphic Designing? It would be better to get higher RAM for processing and loading files.

The thing about PUGET is they run benchmark with A LOT of tasks, something most users don't use.

The very first Ryzen 7 1800X in Malaysia, with MSI X370 board which I decline to name, and 2x Corsair LPX RAM that refuses to run at high speed for some reason. Stuck at 2133.

ts monitor also very important, dont get these gaming monitor..
myself have a decent gaming rig at home, on and off i use this rig for graphic work, perform very well BUT THE COLOR ARE SO MUCH inaccurate, i still prefer the mac i use at my office when come to graphic work.
