You know the usual street food wrapped in the brown paper wrapper? Is it safe to microwave the food together with the wrapper?

microwave will blend the brown paper and your food.
but if you don't care about mutated food, then go ahead.

Depends on the duration.
30 seconds is probably ok.
5 minutes will set it on fire.
